Vreeland Rail operates a 3-mile+ line from Ishpeming-National Mine. There only two customers that I know of are
A & L scrap metal in Ishpeming, and Pepin-Ireco explosives in National Mine. The enginehouse is located at Pepin-Ireco,
and they interchange with the WC at Winthrop Junction. The tracks were the original C & NW route into Ishpeming. The Tilden
Mine pit is located where the tracks originally continued south, between Cascade Junction on the Ore sub & National Mine.
